Hey you dizzy dames and roguish kats... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'reeeeeeeeeeee baaaaaaaaaaack!!!!!

Last Thursday (01/14/2010) our topic of discussion was Improving Your Sex Life and here are some resources as well as a recipe for a SexiTime massage oil =)

Passion Oil
Hoodoo Recipe: “Passion Oil” (p. 164 in Sticks, Stones Roots & Bones by Stephanie Rose Bird)

* 1 ¼c sweet almond oil
* ¼c sesame oil
* ½c apricot kernel oil, rose hip seed oil, or peach kernel oil
* 1 vitamin E capsule
* 1 essential oil set (4 drops of each oil mixed together)

- Earthy musk scent: patchouli, lavender, sandalwood, vanilla (absolute or fragrance oil)
- Sweet floral scent: ylang ylang, palmarosa, neroli, vetiver
- Green citrus scent: lime, rosemary, clary sage, lavender

Mix together the first four ingredients. Then add the set of essential oils into the carrier oil mixture using a dropper and swirl. Pour through a funnel into a bottle.

To use: rub on the body after a bath or use as a romantic rub before lovemaking.

The Results are In!

The following numbers are a result of our Fall '09 Instant Pleasure (IP) campaign efforts.

Five fabulous new hosts joined the IP campaign.
Three hundred flyers were displayed in residents’ halls across the Widener University campus.
Six hours of tabling events reached 400 Widener students and faculty members. Twenty-five students attending tabling events participated in individual consultations about using condoms correctly. Five hundred condoms and individual lubricants were distributed.
Radio-based public service announcements received 200 minutes of air time.
One hundred and nineteen people joined as followers of IP’s website and social networking sites.
And Instant Pleasure Radio Show aired for 30 hours.

Initial surveys revealed that 30.5% of those who listened to the student radio station had listened to a previous IP program with the unstructured format. Final surveys showed that of the people who listen to the college radio station, 48% of them now listen to IP. This is an increase in listenership of 17.5% over 1 semester. This means that for every 2 people that had listened to IP, we added more than 1 new listener.

Not only are more people listening, but they are listening to more shows for longer.

Prior to the new format 10% of our listeners had tuned in for more than six IP shows over a semester. At the end of the semester, 17% of listeners tuned in for more than six shows.
At the beginning of the semester, 36% of IP listeners tuned in for longer than 30 minutes. No audience members listened for longer than an hour and a half. By semester end, 44% of IP listeners tuned in for longer than 30 minutes. 17% of audience members tuned in for an hour and a half to 2 hours of programming.

We did a great job! We thank our listeners for supporting us!

Mama Luv on Books

Title: Sexy Witch by LaSara Firefox

Okay you lovely people you. In honor of our topic this week: Body Image ... I have a titillating literary romp written by LaSara Firefox titled, Sexy Witch. With forewords by such sexy notables as Annie Sprinkle and Nina Hartley, this book comes chock-filled with wonderful treats on how to treat yourself with "perfect love and perfect trust" (to steal a line from The Craft considering the title). Sexy Witch is not a book targeting only Pagan-identified persons but to all women (and some of you men could check out ways to adapt it to your own means or your partner/friends' purposes) who could use a little goddess-worshiping in their lives; the goddess within all of us. It reads like a sort of curricula on finding the goddess within, each chapter giving the reader "homework" or a "magic ritual" to work on. For example, chapter three is titled "Pussy Power!".... I can't argue with that y'all. =o)
